This annual festival is one of the Mid South's longest running fine arts festivals. RiverArtsFest 2010 will be a 2 day celebration of the visual and performing arts with attractions and activities appropriate for all ages.
The event, which is free and open to the public (thanks to our many fine sponsors) is held in the heart of our redeveloped downtown area on Historic South Main.
In 2009, more than 80,000 patrons visited the festival. This area is an ideal location as it is easily accessible and home to many of the city's finest galleries and restaurants with lots of free parking to be found. (Handicap Parking Available)
River Arts Fest 2010 will Feature:
A Juried Artist Market featuring 180+ gallery quality artists in an open air setting.
Live Entertainment on four stages.
Culinary Delights from some of the local restaurants.
Artists in Motion demonstrating new an innovative artistic techniques
Hands On Art is a hands on attraction for kids of all ages.

First Aid:
A first aid station will be onsite during the event and will be located in front of the fire station at the corner of South Main and Butler. Signage throughout the event will provide direction to this station if the need arises.
Free Bike Parking:
Bike Racks will be available along South Main street for those patrons who elect to utilize this mode of transportation. These are provided as a method of convenience, however, River Arts Fest is not responsible for loss or damage resulting from the use of these racks. Please refrain from riding your bike inside the festival grounds.
Restrooms:
Portable restroom facilities are located throughout the event as indicated on the festival map. Handicap restroom facilities will also be provided for those requiring additional assistance.
General Parking and Transportation
There is ample parking downtown around the event with Trolley access to the festival.
Additional parking is available on the grounds adjacent to the farmers market pavilion.
Handicap Parking :
Handicap Parking will be available for vehicles with the proper handicap tags in the lot off St. Paul between 2nd Street and South Main Street or in the Civil Rights Museum parking lot.
Drinks / Beverages / Alcohol:
Beer and Wine beverages will be available for purchase by patrons (21 Years or older) with valid proof of identification. Alcohol vendors will be located throughout the event.
Soft Drinks and Bottled water will also be available for purchase by vendors located throughout the festival area.
